Genderstraddlers 8 years, 8 months ago Only in the last week have I come to realize that I may be bending the “gender rules”. Can’t quite pin it down–I feel male and female simultaneously, never one without the other (which seems to rule out bigender?). I’m not somewhere in between, (I think) ruling out androgyne, because I feel definitely male and definitely female at the same time. The female part of me is both biological from birth and feels like the foundation of my gender house, while my male-ness feels like the framework. I’m identifying as genderqueer, because I know I am, but I feel like there’s more to my gender identity.
Any suggestions?
I thought the point of bigender was that someone felt male and female simultaneously? Have you heard a different definition than I have, because I’ve always heard feeling both male and female as being bigender?
