i’m on a roadtrip with my friend right now and she brought a headlamp which i used many times to find my snacks last night. what i’m trying to say is: this purchase was a really good idea.

hmm, i just read the original post on camp and it mentioned there would be a group created for campers by the higher powers that be. i looked for but couldn’t find anything. i don’t want this group to be redundant! thoughts?

TravelStraddle 11 years, 8 months agoHi Straddlers! I am traveling to Japan for a couple weeks in the summer, and will have a lot of free time in Tokyo. I would love any suggestions for a good lesbian club or bar? Or any place that is gay-oriented, really. My determination is bound to have me stumble upon something, but it’s always better to have good references :)

The Great Library of Autostraddle 11 years, 8 months agoJust finished Tigers and Devils by Sean Kennedy – really cute love story about two guys in Melbourne, and the twist is that one of them’s in the closet because he’s a professional football player… I wasn’t sure about it at first, but it turned out to be really sweet, and a generally uplifting story.

The Great Library of Autostraddle 11 years, 8 months agoI just finished reading The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides, which I thought was pretty good. Not particularly gay, but an interesting story nontheless (if you like Jonathan Franzen type books).
