I know what you mean about hair being such a strong influence in how people gender you – personally, my upbringing has given me a skewed outlook on the gender of hair. I tend not to categorize other people based on their hair (I agree with Cricket, it’s more of a cultural thing) but from personal experience it’s a huge indicator for most societies.
