My sister and I are close (and is supportive of me) and we love watching OITNB. She’s been watching Friends lately and noticed Boo (Lea DeLaria) in one of the episodes and send me a picture. That’s when my mother notices and tells her ‘don’t send that to her, you don’t want to encourage that kind of behavior’. I’m in the closet, for obvious reasons, but now my day is kind of ruined. Any words of encouragement?
you should eventually come out to your mom or at least breech the subject. your sis might be a good person to have around when, or if, that goes down.
Thank you, we’ve been carefully dancing around the subject for a few years, I think I’m more afraid of what I already know is going to happen. I can’t really see past that and if it’ll ever get better.
that might seem more like advice than encouragement, but believe me its best that you plan your outting and gather a good ally for it; I encourage you to, it could be a hallmark
