DIRT: The Quirks, Habits, and Passions of Keeping House is a collection of essays edited by Mindy Lewis about peoples’ (mostly women’s) relationships with dirt/cleaning. Some of the essays are funny, some are more poignant, and some of them exactly describe my feelings about grime. Also, I think you are guaranteed to find at least one essay that does not reflect your own cleaning style, which will help you understand why your roommate never, EVER cleans the bathroom.
