I just finished The Last Man by Mary Shelley. Apocalyptic fiction is great! The book was mostly about how future England would deal with plague. [Side note: Mary Shelley did not spend a lot of time dreaming about what the future would be like. In another 80 years, we’re going to be right back in 19th century England.] I was more interested in how the main character would cope with being the last human on earth. That only happened for approximately the last 30 pages.
