So I’m super-new to the area… live about a 70 minute Metra ride south to Union Station. Any tips for where a lady who likes ladies ought to go/check out in Chicago and the surrounding area? I want to pop my CTA cherry!

Stop by T’s on a Sunday afternoon after CMSA softball.
Go to Dollhouse on Friday nights at Wicker Well.
The Queer Social Club (QSC) meets every first Wednesday of the month at Archie’s Bar.That’s all I can think of. I’m pretty much a newbie when it comes to going out.

Some of us are goin’ to Roscoe’s this Friday and roller derby Saturday…send me a message if you be interested in either.

Thanks for the heads-up you two! I’m super awesome at picking random weekends to not even be in the state of IL. However…definitely keeping track of when roller derby scrimmages are. Love roller derby.

I loved it! I felt like it was good and gossipy without being exploitative, and of course the major players are fascinating individuals. Last wrap up chapter gave me so many feelings.
Ooh, that’s on my Paperback Swap wish list and I can’t wait until it’s available!
