Tarot School 9 years, 1 month ago So, Allison asked me about my Wildwood deck interview. I did it and took, but haven’t typed them up. I’ll do my best to make that happen soon! In the mean time, I DID type up my interview with the miniature RWS and posted it on my tumblr. So here’s that one to tide y’all over. Some interesting stuff definitely came up!
Finally, my TABI deck interview with the miniature Rider Waite Smith!
1. Tell me about yourself? What’s your most important characteristic?
14 Temperance. This deck is all about balance, blending, moderation. Taking a step back, looking at all sides. It feels a little impersonal, which can be good…in moderation.2. What are your strengths as a deck?
13 Death. Change, transition, resurrection. Death is about removing the mask of the soul self, stripping away and losing old habits, rigidity, and allowing a new self to emerge. This feels cleansing to me, like washing away the dirt of a difficult hike. It’s a bit scary too, but what change and growth isn’t? This deck will foster new ways of understanding and looking at things.3. What are your limits as a deck?
9 of Swords. This card is about pain and sadness, though not necessarily in regards to yourself. It seems like this deck may not deal with those topics too well, or it’ll focus on showing the silver lining within the cloud of doom.4. What are you here to teach me?
9 The Hermit. It’s here to serve as a guide to going deeper within the self, the psyche. It’s about self-development, building knowledge through turning inwards.5. How can I best learn and collaborate with you?
9 of Wands. Don’t fight, don’t turn away. This is not a power struggle; you can let your guard down.6. What is the potential outcomes of our working relationship?
10 of Pentacles. Good things! Magic, the joy within the ordinary. How to find and explore that joy through the cards.Interestingly, I got 14 and 13 next to each other, and three 9s…two majors and a minor. And if you add 1+4+1+3, you get 9, which is The Hermit. This deck is all about building associations, inner knowledge, and exploring those moments of synchronicity. This deck is the guide in a way the the other decks aren’t; it’s a little more patient, a little more removed, a little more focused on mentoring.

Very cool. I love that such a teeny deck is ready to tackle big, significant changes and transitions. This seems like it’ll be an amazing one to carry around for short readings.
I have another tiny deck now! Lol. I’ve got to do the deck interview, but I’ll post it here and on tumbler when I do.
