Reason 489 that food allergies have ruined my life.
Back story: I’m allergic to coco, wheat, gluten, and carry around an EpiPen in case I accidentally come in contact with almonds.

today i had to hide underneath my window because my neighbors’ kids were playing outside and being super loud and annoying, but i didn’t want my neighbor to see i was home and feel bad that her kids were being loud and annoying outside my window. i think she saw me anyway. it was awkward.

I do the same thing! Of course in my neighborhood everyone has unregistered weapons to shake at you but you know, same difference.

My cat Niko has a crush on Marlee Matlin. I was watching Children of a Lesser God on YouTube the other night with him sitting in my lap. As soon as Marlee came on screen, he became fixated on her, jumped onto the desk, and tried paw at her and lick her face. I’m serious. It was adorable.

I think my cat has a crush on Ellen. My mom dvrs her show, and she’ll put it on randomly through out the day. Little kitty (the cat, obvs), can be napping away, but once ellen starts speaking she just stares at that screen… but if there is a guest on that is talking too much she’ll look away for a bit. I play bass in a band right now, just a punk band. I love electro and music that can make you move and vocals that feel urgent.

I’ve been messing around with guitar on and off the last few years, playing everything from hard rock to acoustic-y pop, but I’m self-taught and still very much an amateur. I mostly have it because I grew up with instruments (played violin and piano for many years) and feel weird if I don’t have one around.

I write songs on the piano or guitar, and I sing. The stuff I write is usually confessional-type stuff, very Tori Amos I guess. I also play guitar and sing in a rock band :D
