Has anyone been to the Harry Potter theme park yet? It’s on my eventual-to-do list-
I really want to go to the exhibition. looks awesome http://harrypotterexhibition.com/
the theme park is on my to-do list too-
I went to the exhibition! It’s pretty much looking at movie props, costumes then a gift shop. A wand was around $40+ CAN and a Gryffindor tie was around $30. I felt like such a Weasley. :-(
I want to go to the theme park for interaction! You sound very Hermione-like with “Harry Potter Appreciation Society”. I mean that in a good way. :-P

hahaha Thanks! Any Hermione comparison is awesome :)

I’ll be there in 2 weeks! :D

Nice! Let us know how it goes!

I went last summer and it was awesome! The only thing is that the ride in Hogwarts castle had a super long line and is (or was, anyway) prone to breaking down.
-
I went in January (on my birthday). It was really awesome. I only went on the Hogwarts ride (there’s another ride) and while the line was long, it was totally worth it. If you get there at the time the park opens and walk directly to the Harry Potter section the wait won’t be so long. If you don’t have any bags and don’t mind riding alone, you…[Read more]

Harry Potter Appreciation Society 12 years, 5 months agoIs it even possible to choose a favorite book?? Probably not, but I’m going to try:
Goblet of Fire would be my favorite. It’s when Voldemort comes back, Harry learns about the unforgivable curses and all
On the other hand Half-Blood Prince gives us Voldemort’s backstory, that AMAZING second chapter with Snape and Bellatrix discussing Death Eater…[Read more]-
I love them all, but the one I constantly re-read is the Order of the Phoenix. I’ve found many people loathe it (compared to the rest, not actual hate.) for it’s sullen moodiness and constant teenage tantrums. I happen to find that it’s most appealing quality.
-
Whenever I re-read Order of the Phoenix I skip past the Grawp chapter.
Teenage tantrums I don’t mind so much…
