Doctor Whovians 12 years, 3 months agoSo I just finished watching ep 6 The Almost People and no spoilers, but the ending was the most personally terrifying I can remember. I have nightmares where that kinda thing happens to me. How long until we can discuss things?
-
It doesn’t air in the US and Canada until next week. Usually we wait a week to discuss episodes, so I would guess next week, but I don’t care if you discuss it before then I’ll to avoid the thread to avoid spoilers
-
You sure? I torrent like mad, but I could swear BBC America was simulcasting a second showing to synch with the Brit next-day re-airing?
-
BBC America was airing them the same week as the BBC, but because last weekend was Memorial Day weekend BBC America had a marathon rather than show the new episode so the US is a week behind now (we got ‘the almost people’ yesterday and not ‘a good man goes to war’), maybe they’ll resync up at some point.

Straddler-on-Straddler advice 12 years, 3 months ago
Hi, so I need some advice on how to let down straight guy friends with crushes on me without making them crazy and annoying and turning them into stalkers :@ This has happened twice recently and I’m in an environment where straight boys are pretty much my only friends. I’m single, and I used to have a boyfriend and am somewhat bi but am currently…[Read more]

well if you look at it this way, if you were straight you wouldnt be interested in them, so i guess any usual strategy of rejection would be fine. generally if i get the idea that someone is interested in me that isn’t reciprocal i distance myself from them for a bit, but not enough to seem like im ignoring them completely. if they make ANY flirty…[Read more]

I would avoid saying you’re not into them because you’re only into girls right now – that gives the impression that if, in the future, you decide you are closer to the center of the Kinsey Scale and that you are into dating boys again, that they would then have a chance with you. (Not saying that is necessarily going to happen, but you did say y…[Read more]

I personally find honesty the best policy. I suppose it depends how close you are with them. But I would probably confront them and let them know it’s nothing personal but it that it can be upsetting. Talk about how it makes you feel rather than laying any blame if you can get them to see it from your perspective. I’ve found the following phrase…[Read more]

AutoGleeks 12 years, 4 months agoI’ve gotta say, after this episode, I am a Faberry convert. They’re no Brittana but that bathroom scene was too perfect to not be a self-aware wink to the shippers
-
Also the scene where Rachel tells Finn how acquire the right corsage. A light green ribbon to match her eyes? This whole episode was full of Faberry, and it’s starting to rub off on me. I don’t generally ship straight girls together when there are queer girls actually represented in the series, but dang. The Faberriness lately (last half of the…[Read more]
