ack, I’m not in Taipei anymore :( I do wish I were, though. Did you just arrive? How’s it going?
Good! My family is from here actually…. I’m just back on a postgrad unemployed dunno-what-to-do-with-my-LYFE kind of crisis, actually involving a girl :) But I havent gotten around the taiwanese scene yet. any tips? favorite places? where did you go?
heya, Ren, so sorry – I only just saw this! I really recommend looking at the lezs meeting website for stuff that’s going on (http://www.lezsmeeting.com/), and also maybe checking out Taboo? It’s sort of small, but from what I could work out, it seems to be the main club-place, if you’re into that kind of scene. Hope life-planning’s going OK – I went to Taipei in basically exactly that head space, and it turned out to be a pretty good place to be so :)
I’m in Taipei now. If anyone would like organise another Taipei meet-up, let me know. I saw the list of good places to go in Taipei posted on Autostraddle but it would be much better to go with a group of friends.
