Hey! I’m from Vancouver, but I’ve visited New York City. What’s it like to be a queer Asian in New York City? I went hunting for the queer scene when I went, but no cigar.
You should’ve went to West Village. NYC is more conservative than it appears, so I am semi-closeted. I assume the situations are better in Vancouver?
Hm, it depends. Depends on your family and friends, depends where you live. I feel mostly safe and ok holding my gf’s hand down the street. Sometimes we get positive glances, sometimes not.
