Nice :D What’s your area of study? I only ever think of Bio and Forensics when I think of western blots [my ugrad was the latter]

I’m in biology, plant physiology to be more precise. Not the most popular field in bio, but I love it anyway :)

Yep I’m planning on being a scientist forever! (at least at this point in my life :D ) I am a super curious nerd and a job that involves perpetually asking questions people don’t know the answer to is perfect for me. Haha :P

Heh well dead people don’t creep me out, I’ve practiced on cadavers and observed autopsies (actually quite different when dealing with the ‘recently passed’) it doesn’t bother me, it just leaves me cold (no pun intended oops) I avoided med school due to the hypercompetitive, need-to-be-the-best, take-ten-years-off-your-life shenanigans they get…[Read more]

Yeah I have to say OK is really NOT ok even though I am trying to see if there are any femme ladies near me which at the moment does not look good at all

I’ve always found more femmes than butches, weird. Part of OKC’s problem is they are just a huge sausage-fest so ladies in general are hard to find. It’s why I had to change my search preferences to just girls because if you list both genders you hardly ever get girls in your results (or they are the same girls over and over).

the only reason i went on was to meet the ladies (i am bisexual as well) but geezus i just keep getting weird messages from weird men even though my profile and preferences say i am looking for girls ONLY dammit! but putting “gay” as my orientation felt like lying. solution???

Click the edit button next to your basic info. If you look under where you set your sexual orientation and gender, there’s a little box you can check that says “I don’t want to see or be seen by straight people.”

I do this too, with messages. Never sure how to deal with it.
Yeah, my problem is that I know myself too well to say that I’ll never do it again, which seemed to be what the other person wanted to hear. I’m sure it made her feel like I didn’t care about her or the conversation, but in reality I’m just a forgetful idiot sometimes.
Well if she takes everything personally probs it’s better that she goes off and does her own thing anyway.
