Pretttttty certain I’m the only gay person in it, because we are 98% white, conservative and Christian. If anyone lives remotely near me, talk to me! I know one queer girl IRL, could use some help in that department.

I found two gay boys here, and there’s one lesbian who’s in the 9th grade who’s been crushing on me recently, and I’m flattered but also going to college in the fall, and I want NO excuse to come back here EVER AGAIN because, as you probably know, small towns SUCK.

My school as 200 individuals in the building every day, and it’s a grade 7 through 12 school, and this number includes all of the students and all of the faculty. My school is about 400 people. And me and one bisexual girl. I didn’t realise I was gay until about 17, but from then on (last year) it’s been pretty horrendous. Fortunately leaving in three weeks!

I’d have to agree on that. Just read about your new ‘Don’t say Gay’ law, my heart goes out to all those queer kids. Here in the UK we had something similar, it was called Section 28 and it has had a very bad effect on gay kids in schools, including me.

Autostraddle Sports Club 12 years, 6 months agoanyone else looking forward to the french open? i never paid much attention to tennis until i was randomly going through channels & caught the sharapova v. rodina match at the 2008 french open. that was such an intense match & ever since then i’ve been all about tennis. yep.

French Open should be interesting. Sadly the ATP is in a better state than the WTA right now.
Not to mention tennis gave us Billie, Martina, Amelie, Conchita (though I’m not sure if she ever came out)…-
