Doctor Whovians 12 years, 5 months agoReply is fucked up, so —
@Sally Sparrow re: Vincent and the Doctor – you’re not the only one who disliked it. I quite liked it, but I know one of the guys from Radio Free Skaro didn’t like it at all and felt like it was emotionally manipulative and over the top at the end. Also: InvisibleSpaceChickenWTF? -

Doctor Whovians 12 years, 5 months agoyeah, I find with new doctors I have to watch a full season then go back and watch them again for them to really feel like “my” doctor. That’s how I finally managed to warm up to Donna, too.

Doctor Whovians 12 years, 5 months ago(I’m not sure if replies are working so this is in reply to Lis) I must be one of the few people that really disliked the Van Gogh episode. It might actually be my least favorite episode. I will admit it might has something to do with the fact that it took me a long time to warm up to Matt Smith.

Doctor Whovians 12 years, 5 months agoI think until the next episode is too long. People should just avoid this group until they’re up to date. Seriously, I think The Doctor’s Wife was one of my favourite (although SO scary) episodes yet – at least of the eleventh doctor… although the Van Gogh one was also fabulous.
-
I didn’t think it was that scary. The only part that was a little creepy was with Rory and Amy in the TARDIS and Amy walked into the Ood and he was chasing them. And I absolutely LOVED the TARDIS in human form lol

I’m sorry lis, i accidentally deleted your reply too. gorram buttons! sorry!

Yeah, it was a bit creepy for me. I’m glad Neil Gaiman was the one who wrote this episode since it touches on things that could really have had the fans in an uproar (or at least a bit miffed) if done wrong.

since so many are still catching up, and a huge percentage probably DVR eps, I think it’s fair to delay posting specific spoilers a bit. I don’t think that precludes discussing (or flailing over) an episode.

Doctor Whovians 12 years, 5 months agoDoes anyone else here like the audio adventures? I haven’t gotten to listen to a lot of them just yet, but I quite like them. More adventures are never a bad thing! Plus, it was an opportunity for the Eighth Doctor to actually be the Doctor. And “Night Thoughts” was creepy as hell!
Anyway, there’s a new audio adventure on BBC Radio 4 Plus with…[Read more] -

So many Melbournians!!! Alas I am from the far north (Brisbane) but I am heading down to Melbourne for a week in June. Any recommendations for clubs/bars/cafes/hangout spots??
-
Libation on Brunswick St in Fitzroy is a great bar with a “Women’s Afternoon” on a Sunday which isn’t OFFICIALLY Queer but is always FULL of Dykes. In fact, pretty much all of Fitzroy is full of Dykes. If you’re Vegetarian, the Vege Bar also on Brunswick St is pretty much a must do.
For cafes in the inner city go to Centre Place near Flinders St…[Read more]

and dear Melbournians, can anyone recommend a trusted hairdresser? (that can cut short hair without looking like JB) Thanks!-
I get my hair cut quite short at heading out in camberwell…ask for Ronaldo. Although i did look a bit like jb once…
