We Love Documentaries 9 years, 9 months agoToday I watched “This Film Is Not Yet Rated”. It was pretty eye-opening, but I am looking for a documentary that will really intrigue me! You know, I want to finish watching it and breathe a long sigh, as if I was holding my breath the whole time. Anyone have any suggestions? Oh! I also just saw “Bill Cunningham: New York” and it. was. amazing!

Have you watched Finding “Sugar Man”: Rodriguez? I’ve just recently watched it and it’s easily one of my favorite documentaries yet.

Is a TOUGH watch but “The Act of Killing” was a very powerful documentary that I caught earlier this year. It comes out on VOD and DVD on Jan 7th. Here is the trailer.

“This Film Is Not Yet Rated” is an awesome look into the MPAA and their biases/inconsistencies. Glad you liked it! If you’re interested in documentaries about film that are more queer related, check out “The Celluloid Closet” it’s not perfect, but it’s very entertaining and informative.

We Love Documentaries 9 years, 10 months agoWhat topics do you all generally watch documentaries about? Recently, I’ve been watching docs about the food industry and other political bullshit. While they’re certainly informative, they’re mostly infuriating. I need something intriguing and non-depressing to watch.
