I am reading “Always My Child” prior to making my mom read it, so she’ll stop saying stuff that is really offensive and upsetting. I am just at the beginning, and mostly I am feeling upset about all the offensive and upsetting stuff she’s said in the past, and that I didn’t get that angry about at the time because I didn’t know I as allowed to get angry/couldn’t explain why I was so upset.
