Ten was definitely my favorite, but Eleven is growing on me. It does help that his companion is so lovely.

Amy Pond is definitely cool (like bowties!!), but I really loved it when Ten and Donna clashed, they were an interesting pair.

Doctor Whovians 12 years, 6 months agoI’ve been thinking about the difference between the last doctor and this one, and it seems like Ten had a lot more gravitas, like, “I’m the Doctor, you’d better back the fuck up”. Whereas Eleven seems more unsure and more like a newbie. There isn’t much ‘fire and ice and rage, the night and the storm in the heart of the sun’ in the new Doctor. Discuss.

I loved that sorta dark gravitas that the last doctor had, but at the same time, i like my shows to be lighthearted and funny most of the time. Except for last night’s episode, i really like the newbie doctor.

I’m a football/soccer person mainly. College football is brilliant, I love it, it tends to be so much more exciting than the nfl.

softball and soccer. just can’t stop watching those college softball games, for multiple reasons :3 and i FINALLY caught a WPS game on teevee. yay natasha kai ^-^

Two years ago (I think, when UW won), I watched every single game of the regionals and women’s world series for softball. Those games are like crack, you get sucked in and can’t stop watching.

I did when I was a kid. I have a bronze medal from a Swim meet for 8 and 9 year-olds that I’m very proud of.
Then I had to switch schools and scheduling conflicts ended my career abruptly.-
Aaaah bummer. I did it in college, and miss it a lot now that I’ve been out of college a few years…

Watching: hockey, then soccer.
Playing: I am completely and totally inept at all sports… unless you count figure skating. Then I’m decent, but nothing special. Or yoga. Does yoga count? I dont think so. Always wanted to play ice hockey… perhaps there is still time.-
there is always time to learn to play ice hockey. especially if you can already skate. that’s like 78% of the battle right there.

I’m fairly sure there’s a league in/around where I’m attending college next year, and I want to try out. My issue: I’m 5’2″ and weight about 100 pounds. I’m tiny as fuck. Will I be snapped in two? Can I even be of use? Is it worth the attempt? (Please tell me I’m not useless; I really do want to “make out with any of the above.”)

There is a place for every body type in derby, which is part of the reason it’s so awesome! If you are fast, you will be an awesome jammer, squeezing through little holes like it’s no problem.
