Ha – I wondered where the post went! I really want to go to Taboo but have crutches, and I’m supposed to be taking them really seriously for at least two weeks. And when I was sitting back icing my foot, not using the crutches yet, it seemed completely reasonable that I could just get on with my life, no problem, the crutches were my friends BUT they’re actually not, they’re awful, I am the opposite of mobile. And there’s a huge staircase leading down into Taboo. Soooo, I am in for the bar, as a reliably sedentary activity, but might not be able to make it actually IN to Taboo? I am so frustrated. Will google the area right now, and doublecheck the presence of nearby bars…
:S doesn’t sound fun.. If nearby bars don’t work out then I have a Plan B which is, would you prefer to go to Jailhouse instead? If my memory serves me correctly that’s more of a bar, right? I wanted to check out both places at some point anyway, so we could go to Jailhouse first then Taboo when you’re crutch-less again, so you don’t miss out?

OK! So I have been google earth-ing Taboo and, from scanning up and down the street, I can’t see any obvious bars right next door. SO, yes, let’s check out Jailhouse. There’s a kind of ricketty staircase up to it, but I think that’ll be ok – I can hop that far, I reckon. What time are you thinking? 8? 9?
Hey y’all… so I’m going on a family trip Sunday which means I’m not sure how late I can stay out on Sat night. If I can go, I’ll definitely come to Jailhouse :D

Yes, 9 at Jailhouse! And Michelle, I think there’s a limit to how totally crazy I can go on one leg, so you can keep pace with me and then you’ll probably be fine for your family trip :) I’ll be bringing my apparently-straight-but-LOVES-lesbian-bars friend (also female), so I hope that’s ok, too!
