I just finished Harry, A History: The true story of a boy wizard, his fans, and life inside the Harry Potter phenomenon by Melissa Anelli (of the Leaky Cauldron), 330 pages. I had started this book years ago but only read the first chapter (as indicated by a bookmark) and then for some reason set it aside. I had to make a weekend trip which resulted in 7 hours on the amtrak train (cumulative) so I grabbed this book to bring and finished it by the time I was home today. I am SO happy I did. I read this book at exactly the right time. I’m sure others have gone/are going through a post-potter depression and waiting to read this after it was all really over, was perfect. It evoked all the memories the fandom and myself have shared over the 10+ years. A bittersweet way to conclude the series & films. Strongly recommend it to any Potter fan.
