lol You could just scrawl on it “I’M GAY!!!” for them to take note, although I don’t think that’d be official. Still…that’s a funny thought…(to me)

It doesn’t look like it. I just filled mine out and it seemed like it didn’t have any real questions.
The most interesting thing it asked for was my birthday.
And if I would like my information to be available in the year 2103.

I filled out the online version, but there’s a space at the end for comments/concerns. Unfortunately, it only let me fill in 160 words, which wasn’t nearly enough space for all my complaints and suggestions…which somebody better read…

  I just used the comments section to ramble on about/hopefully coherently express my feelings of anger over the lack of long form census and the complete uselessness of the short form census questions.

only 4.5 million people are receiving the National Household Survey” (aka the new long form) and even then, its voluntary.
You can order a paper version of the short form though, and maybe draw Harper a nice gay rainbow.
Unfortunately. I realized this after I filled out the online version…

  When I filled mine out, I included my girlfriend (gotta be living in the same house, though) and I as common-law partners in a same sex relaysh.
  If you’re single or not living together, there isn’t really a way for them to count your lovely queerness. :(

  I was super bummed that I couldn’t do long-form. My parents did, but I didn’t, so I thought that I missed a step or something. Thanks for clarifying the reality.
