My parents didn’t initially believe *I* was bi but they definitely believe in bisexuals in general (and they’ve come around about my sexuality, too). I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks “dyke” is not exclusive to lesbians but applies to all women-loving women. I got five or six 0-star ratings on AfterEllen for expressing that.

Yeah, I agree – and I don’t understand why. But the biphobia in particular has been out of control lately.
