Philly Straddles Hard! 9 years, 5 months agoJust moved here, living in the suburbs but I have to get to know the city or I’ll DIE out here. Where do I start?

Get to know the neighborhoods. Northern Liberties/Fishtown is hipster nation. West Philly is a nice mix of co-ops, Penn students, and chill vibes. South Philly is a hodgepodge of old Italian enclaves and tattooed ladies on bikes..and delicious Vietnamese food.

The Great Library of Autostraddle 9 years, 5 months agoI just finished “Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee” which is great if you want something with the fun and satisfaction of chick-lit but with some good depth to it, and character development that doesn’t let you take much for granted.
