I’ve always identified as Ravenclaw. I try to analyze my decisions with logic and consider myself as more intelligent than most.

Yep, that is definitely me! Except that my brain has slow days where I’d be stuck outside the Ravenclaw common room talking to myself.

That’s how I was feeling up until yesterday. I found the quill on the second day, I have nothing but endless free time, yet still no email!! If it’s any consolation, I’m a little envious of you because you get to do the wand-buying and house-sorting still, definitely the best part so far.

For me my main distractions are being cold, my cell phone, and noise, respectively. So: Bring sweater for cold library (despite that it’s like 90 out all the time wtf library), pack cell phone away (on silent) in bag (I don’t, at this moment, have quite the fortitude to turn it off), and make sure to have an ipod with music that helps me…[Read more]

A good way to keep from eating, if your library allows (or wherever you study), is bringing a huge (reusable) bottle of water. I find the zone-out munching I like to do while studying is easily replaced with unconsciously drinking lots of water, and then you keep yourself awake and moving with all the bathroom breaks. yeah.
