That IS yuck. What part of Mississippi? Don’t feel like you have to name the town, but I have roots in northern Mississippi, around Corinth.
I’m east MS, very close to AL. I think I’m only a couple hours away from Corinth! Glad someone gets it :)
Wow, another Mississippian! I’m currently living in Mobile, AL with my dad, but I’ve lived my whole life in Lucedale, MS. Living in a small town in MS can really suck, and be cool at the same time. But only in the “I related to everyone and everybody here all know each other” way…which can suck as well… at least I tried, didn’t I? :)
Yes. I was sure that if anyone was from MS on here, if I didn’t know them already I would know someone who knows them.
perhaps we should be trying to replace some of the natural suckiness of this place with the magic of Autostraddle. spread the word!
