I’m just beginning to navigate my way through the ins and outs of realizing that I’m gay, my 50th birthday present to myself. Not sure what all that means yet – I’ve only been out to myself and a few select others for just a few months, so this is very, very new to me.

What we need is a 50+ group. I know I know, lesbians over 50 are supposed to disappear into marriage and anonymity, but a lot of us are still out here, activists and doing stuff.
