    So, came to the realization that I am attracted to women after I grabbed my best friend, pulled her in for a kiss, kissed for awhile, and then told her I had feelings for her when she was moving to her next duty station. No big.

      I didn’t realize I liked femme folks until I made out with someone on my birthday last year, and there was nowhere I would have rather been in that moment. It’s been a wild year.
