Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites 11 years, 9 months agoI always remember season four as being generally bad..but it does have some of the best individual episodes, such as Something Blue, Hush, a New Man, This Year’s Girl/Who Are You, Susperstar, and Restless. I […]

Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites 11 years, 9 months agoEarly Buffy is sweetly campy. Later Buffy is super serious, and (I think) a little better, but you should always start at the beginning. Trust me, it’s worth it. Watching the characters grow up is half the fun!

Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites 11 years, 9 months agoI can’t believe that someone above recommended Season 4 as the place to start. Season 4 is the weakest season by FAR – Willow and Tara can only carry the trainwreck so far.
The best place to start with Buffy […]

Hello, so I was chatting to a fellow Autostraddler last night and we were thinking how it might be a good idea to organise some sort of meet up for the UK and Ireland people. There’s a dyke march on in London on the 31st of March so meeting up at that could be a possibility? Let me know what you think anyway, I think it’d be nice to meet some of…[Read more]

I’m up for it!

Savage, well, I suppose we could all meet at a certain place in central London before the march and then go out afterwards too! Im heading over with about 7 ladies from here so we’d all love to meet up with any UK Autostraddlers that want to join us! :) Im not sure where we can meet up, but i’ll ask round and see where’s best!

AutoScots! 11 years, 9 months agoAny suggestions for an Aussie just moved to Edinburgh?

There’s going to be an AS meet-up in Edinburgh at the end of the month I believe, so keep the 28th of January free if you can :D
Otherwise, I have about a million recommendations for places to eat/drink and also on Nicolson Street there is a bookshop called Word Power Books which is the best. Also some nice 2nd hand bookshops on/near the…[Read more]

Ah damn, can’t make the 28th :( But definitely will check out that bookshop on Nicolson. Any recommendations for friendly bars/cafes to meet people either here or glasgow?
-
Hrm, well I can’t speak to meeting people in bars/cafes etc. A friend of mine met her now wife at Velvet which now runs as Saturday Night Beaver which runs at Cab Vol. Not sure which night, but The List has the dates. They also have dates for other LGBT events that run in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

sounds like something to look into :) cheers very much :)
