We Love Documentaries 12 years, 3 months agoI watched America’s Most Hated Family in Crisis today – it’s the follow up to Louis Theroux’s first documentary on the WBC, The Most Hated Family in America. Some people have left since the first doc was filmed. Also since then they have done many parodies of Lady Gaga songs, which are quite… interesting.

We Love Documentaries 12 years, 4 months agoI watched The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia a few weeks ago. It’s produced by Johnny Knoxville if that means anything to anyone. It was pretty entertaining and may give some people an appreciation for their families.

Femme Straddlers 12 years, 4 months agoHelp – I went to the hair cuttery for a trim and she chopped off five inches of my hair! I now have this mullet-thing going on, and not a sexy hipster mullet, a curly frizzy disaster mullet.
Help me fancy femmes – what do I do with this mop? Should I go to another salon and try to get the cut fixed? Or just wear a hat for six months? ha I nee…[Read more]

Haha just get it cut again if you can afford it. Disaster mullets are not where it’s at. Go some where fancy, with a battle plan. I’ve only gotten one haircut in my life that I would consider successful and it came at a great expense and there was definitely lots of research involved, so I know how the disaster mullet feels and it’s no good. Good luck!
-
In theory, you should be able to get it fixed for free by the gal who butchered it in the first place. But I would probably just go somewhere else to see if the cut could be salvaged. Walk into a new salon and have the cosmetologist with the curliest hair go to work on you, that was my strategy until I found a regular stylist.
-
Yeah I’d recommend getting it recut or if there’s enough just having it tied up until it’s long enough to be cut again. But good luck to you!
-
If you can’t afford to get the cut fixed, can it be straightened into a sexy hipster mullet?
But if you can’t afford to get it recut by someone else, you are definitely entitled to go back in there and ask for her to fix it!

NYC Straddlers 12 years, 4 months agoHi everybody! Every year, I go to Pride events and wonder how it is that I could use my fingers and toes to count all the gay men I know in NYC… but when it comes to counting lesbians I know, I have to think pretty hard? Maybe this is what I get for being a nerdy tomboy. Anyway. Hi.
