What kind of internship? I’m around-ish. And did you just move recently? Meeting people in DC isn’t too hard, I don’t think, although it’s easier up north (Baltimore). Send me a message though and I’ll recommend you places to go/offer to hang out :)
I’m interning with the USDA-APHIS financial management division. I got here last sunday working full days, so a lot of work and no play. I’m checking out the folklife festival today—I’m sure that’ll be entertaining. Haha what’s with the around-ish part? What are you up to this summer?
Sounds rough, haha. By around-ish I mean I live in Baltimore but I have lots of friends in/around DC, and work is close to DC, so I’m around often enough. I’m also moving out of the area at the end of summer :( As for what I’m up to–working, hanging with friends, getting in lots of local and/or touristy stuff before I’m gone. But I’m always down to hang out with new people. Interested?
cool. Where ya moving to? Haha love the touristy stuff! I want to get in as much adventure time before I leave DC so I’m game. Also stupid little question—do you know how to change the avatar on here? I’m trying to put up an image of myself through gravatar, but haven’t been able to :(
