    Played around wtb labels for quite sometime before I found one I liked. Currently I’m digging trans-masculine genderqueer. Despite my joining this group, I’m not so fond of the word butch. Anybody else??

      I think it can have a narrow definition sometimes, like it only works for someone who’s into the old-school butch-femme relationship model. I usually use the term “butch” in a joking manner, or when it’s easier to use to describe myself to clueless straight people. :V

      i really only use the word butch in reference to someone who needs to suck it up and get things done. butch up, i tell them. or myself. works on anyone.
