I recently graduated from college, and I will be moving to Miami in a few months (summer 2013). I’m interested in meeting new people in my hometown (Wichita, KS) and in Miami.

I love the beach and am interested in learning to surf and dive. I like to create things of various sorts. I like other people that like these things, too.

I have a lot of varied interests, but I’ve always been drawn to things in a few categories: geekiness, science and math, working with kids, fighting for equal access to everything for everyone, learning and education, sustainable living, authenticity and constant growth. I like to keep the path ahead undefined, but I will be spending at least the next two years exploring these things and more while I teach science to some awesome kids in Miami-Dade County as part of the Teach For America corps. I will also be doing graduate work at University of Miami during this time.
