We Love Documentaries: 12 years agoDiagnosing Difference is pretty much amazing. We were able to bring this documentary to my school since we are woefully ignorant about LGBT issues. Since I’m lazy I’m just going to copy-paste what we sent out “Diagnosing Difference is an award-winning, feature-length documentary featuring interviews with 13 diverse scholars, activists, and artists…[Read more]

Ohhh! Canada 12 years, 1 month agoYou guys, Jack Layton died, this morning. :'(
I feel the need for a Jack Layton memorial open thread. I have feelings I need to get off my chest.-

Such a great person. I thought he’d be back by September for sure. RIP Jack. Sad we won’t get to see him as Prime Minster.

I was so surprised when I heard that this morning! It is really sad he’ll never be pm, I figured we would have him leading us four years from now

We Love Documentaries: 12 years, 1 month agoI loved The Union; I watched it up at school with my chapter of Norml and it was really interesting. I also recently watched Murderball which is about wheelchair rugby and sparked my interest in the sociology of sport. The Age of Stupid is also really good.

We Love Documentaries 12 years, 1 month agoHas anyone besides me seen American Mullet? That was a train wreck but it sounded so incredibly ridiculous that I had to watch it…obviously that means I’ll watch anything.
