Anyone from London? Part of me is excited to go to Huron at UWO but Ottawa sounds like it has a much larger and active queer community.

    • Dude! I’m from London! :)

Ahhh, I don’t like UWO so much though. Pride Western is pretty awesome though — a few years ago I got to do a leadership conference there through my high school’s GSA. It was such a great experience! I got a t-shirt. :)

      • Hearing about Pride Western’s awesomeness is a huge relief. To be honest, I’m not a fan of UWO either but Huron has a nice U of T feel to it. And I get small classes while reaping the benefits of UWO’s clubs and resources :D

        • Yeah, that’s cool! So you’re just finishing up high school right now? Where at? I’m finishing up my last year (well, victory lap) here myself. And yeah, Huron might be alright. To be honest, I don’t know much about the colleges. What are you majoring in?

          • I’m finishing a victory lap as well. I go to St. Pat’s in Sarnia, so about an hour away. For now I plan to major in French but I’m not too sure about it yet. Do you have any plans for next year?

            • I’ve actually never heard of that school. D: I have family in Sarnia, but their only child is only a few years old. And take your time! I know for a lot of programs you don’t need to know what you want to specialize in for a few years… I’m in the health studies program at Waterloo for next year, so I don’t really have all that much wiggle room. One of the women at the GSA conference a few years back was in her fourth year as an undecided major.

Apparently it’s pretty common, haha. So there’s no rush. :)

              • It’s not a big school. I was actually really surprised when I met some London kids who had heard of it. Yeah, luckily I don’t have to decide until second year. Haha, I think my parents wouldn’t be too happy if I made it to fourth year without deciding. But that’s comforting to know. Hopefully you’re sure with your program.
