i would just like to note that i saw Hanna and really liked it from this perspective. they didn’t even bother to give her a love interest at all, let alone a boy to ride off into the sunset. she’s just a badass chick doing badass stuff. i recommend it heartily.

Have a look at Jeanette Winterson’s Tanglewreck, if you haven’t already. Your plot info/stuff kinda reminds me of it. It got a great review from my MA tutor and her 11-year-old daughter.
