Just another geeky oldster with a Tumblr. I’m a genderflux trans woman about a year into transition, so there’s still a fair amount of angst mixed in with fangirling about Marvel movies and queer/trans-positive TV shows.

I’m doing a different 30-day ab thing and it’s going… okay? I feel like a couple of the exercises that I have in mine actually… hurt… in a bad way, like a “NOPE BAD FOR YOUR MUSCLES YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG WAY,” so I cut those two out but are doing the others. I feel like this should all be possible without stopping the drinking of alcohol? But go you on the 30 day ab thing! Good idea to listen to your body when it says “no definitely don’t do that.” Though it’s hard because my body wants to say that about the easy things that aren’t hurting it.
I’m doing it! Day 6. I feel good, but I somehow suck at crunches.
I think I suck at situps, but can do crunches just fine. But like, how am I supposed to get all the way back up with just my core muscles? I often convert the situps into more crunches instead.
Also way to go! Keep it up!
I keep missing days on my 30 Days of Yoga challenge, but I figure they don’t have to be CONSECUTIVE days…
I would agree, I think it’s more important to feel good about the days that do count, than to get down on yourself for the days when it just didn’t fit in.
