How many of you use Ubuntu? Just for informal polls’ sake :)

I don’t use Ubuntu specifically, but I <3 linux/debian/bsd and use a mix of distros, with RHEL being my favorite.

i use rhel at work, just set it up as a server for some virtual world stuff we are doing. i recently started using ubuntu with vmware at home, i’m planning on setting up dual boot with xp on my old laptop when i have time :)

I use Virtualbox to run XP on my desktop, and it works pretty well, other than Adobe suite runs a bit slow. Could just be my 6-year-old HP hard drive, though. :V

I’m moving to GR next spring, and I’ve never spent more than a few days at a time there so I was wondering–where’s the best part of the city to find inexpensive housing and/or easy employment? Since restaurant work is the only thing I have documented experience with, I’ll probably have to settle for that for a bit unless I get more freelance…[Read more]

Eastown is a fairly cheap and fun neighborhood to live in, lots of college students, coffee shops and bars. And it’s close to downtown. It’s mostly big houses broken up into apartments.
I live in Alger Heights and it’s a fantastic neighborhood, but mostly single family homes (no apartments) and lots of young families. Not so much nightlife, but…[Read more]
