Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites: 12 years agoI love this show so much. I mean for starters, ELIZA DUSHKU. And of course Joss Whedon is just a genius. I absolutely hate that it got cancelled so early, I would have loved to see where he could have taken it. Also, I love any sort of conspiracy theory, so that aspect of it […]

Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites: 12 years agoI’ve just watched the first season all over again, and I thought it was way better and more exciting than I remember. I think it was the stress with not knowing weather it would continue or be cancelled that distracted me a bit the first time, also the excitement with a new series from Joss […]

Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites: 12 years agoSame here, with the jealousness. I don’t think my roommates would go for that though. When (if) I have a job with a desk one day I’ll get some though.

Browncoats, Scoobies & other Whedonites: 12 years agoI like how I log on for the first time for quite some time and I IMMEDIATELY find the Firefly thread. I just want to say I have a little River Tam statuette on my desk (next to Tortoro, Dark Vader, Batgirl and a stegosaurus) and Mal and Serenity are on the bookshelf. Also my […]

NYC Autostraddlers 12 years agoOkay, I need help! I’m throwing a bachelorette party for my bff here in NYC and she wants to do something strippy, but not a strip club. I’m thinking soemthing go-go dancer/burlesque-y. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!

On Weds and Thursday’s Nurse Betty’s has a cute free burlesque show. I also heard that Dron has a burlesque show the first Saturday of every month that’s supposed to be fun.

If your crowd is artistically inclined, maybe Dr. Sketchy’s? It’s a burlesque life drawing event. http://www.drsketchy.com/

Thanks for the suggestions! We ended up at Duane Park, which I would highly recommend. Then sent the bride off on a scavenger hunt on all of her favorite NYC places, including RF and Cubbyhole. She just got married (LEGALLLLYYY!) this past weekend and it was amazing :D Thank you, New York!!
