    Hi everyone,
i’m not from Montreal but i’m travelling to Canada and the States this summer (August actually) and i’m flying on Montreal. I have get to Boston and i was wondering if any of you know what the cheapest/best way to travel is. In Europe we have something called trains but as far as i know thats not really the most common way of travelling across the Atlantic. My uncle said something about greyhound busses and i’ve looked it up on internet but its not really clear to me how to purchase tickets if you’re not living in Canada. Also, do you need to book on forehand or are places always available? Anyways i’ve got plenty of questions so if anyone feels like helping me out that would be great ! I can give you information on Europe in exchange :p i hope to hear from you.
    kthxbye xx

    • Bus is easy and cheap way to get from Montreal to Boston. It takes a while (approx 7 hours) but is the cheapest (about $70). There are lots of buses that leave everyday and usually is never a problem just showing up and getting a ticket, unless you’re traveling on a busy weekend like a holiday or long weekend. If you are a little more adventurous, I have a lot of friends who have taken ‘ride shares’ from montreal to boston. Ride shares are usually just regular ppl (but possibly crazies sometimes? idk could happpen…) who are driving there and offer spots to people (can find them on craigslist) for a cheaper price than a bus/train. I know tons of people who take these, its riskier but cheaper, ranging from $20-50 sometimes, depends on the person driving and everything! hopefully this is helpful! if you have more questions you can add me as a friend or whatever and send them in message? (i think you can do that on here….)
