Starting my master’s in a new city/new university with new people, including new (7!) housemates. I keep bringing up my ex gf to new people because i want to come out as quickly as possible, but that means people think i’m still hung up on her and they think i’m oversharing and weird.

My strategy is to get to know those around me first and hear what gay terms they might throw around, as in their bashing and such.
