Also Working On It 8 years agoI just wanted to relay how I went for a run today, wigged out after 18 minutes, crawled back, and stopped by the supermarket on my way home, sweaty, redfaced and in work out gear, to buy a frozen pizzza, which I promptly prepared and consumed. I went running at dusk, so at least it feels like there is some poetry to this story.

I can only run for 2-3 minutes without wanting to die and so I find your effort pretty impressive.

I commend your efforts. I need to get healthy and just thinking about exercise makes me cringe. Sadly I must undo the years of bad habits and stuff so that I can get healthy.

Post work out food is legit the best. I do the same thing.

I usually have to make a bargain with myself, like ‘okay if you go to the gym for the next two days then you can sit at home all Saturday eating M&Ms and watching television and not feel bad about it’. It’s not effective every time, but most times. Maybe someone else knows a way that doesn’t involve self-bribery.
