so question for you guys. i’m considering joining the LGBTQ group on my campus but main reason i didn’t last year when i first moved was because i was afraid i’d end up hanging out with students in my classes. is that ridiculous? i guess i’m worried about maintaining some level of professionalism since i have to teach, but now i just want to hang…[Read more]

I don’t have an answer… I would just like to say that I’m going through the exact same thing right now.

I think this is going to happen to me too.

Is there no grad student queer org? (start one?) Also, you could volunteer at a local queer org and meet people off campus that way!

thanks :) i definitely agree with that saying “the more you learn the more you realize how little you know” – and that’s part of the reason i love science so much, it’s just a constant stream of learning things that have never been discovered before. it just freaks me out that i’m sleeping 3-4 hours a night now for the fifth day in a row and i…[Read more]
hey, good luck! i ate leftover thai food for breakfast before my exam, so do whatever makes you feel good before yours :)
thanks for the good luck wishes! my plan is to listen to music and just chill till it’s time. i dunno if i could handle eating beforehand, but definitely coffee!
