@internrachel @julia1 Literally just finished reading Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters, 472 pgs. It was… lesbisexy. I don’t know what to say about it honestly. I grudgingly enjoyed it, the writing was awkward in places and I feel awkward reading sexy-ish books set in Edwardian England (see also: The Crimson Petal and the White). I just feel like the author is trying to hard but not quite getting it but I haven’t read any Edwardian sexy books so I could be wrong. Anyways read it for the descriptions of Nance’s suits, I want them all because they all sound totally hot.
