Hi! I just finished The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest by Stieg Larsson (576 pages). It’s the third book in the Lisbeth Salander trilogy. It’s not as good as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (which is the best book in the series, imo), but it continues the story right were the second book ends so I felt like I had to read it. I feel like I read the first two books in no time, and this one took forever. (This book club became the main motivation to finish the damn book.) There are so many extra storylines and characters introduced that I felt exhausted / lost interest at multiple points. Every time I thought the story was for sure winding down something new would happen. Overall it was good, and I’m glad I finished it, but I could have done without half the storylines in the book. @internrachel @julia1
