    I need some advice… I’m booking a week off work in February to go on what I hope will be a great snowboarding trip, but I’m torn between Quebec and Vermont. Any recommendations?

      Now you can’t take my word as expert advice, I’m only telling you what I have heard from snow-sporting friends and relatives, but I’d lean toward Quebec. It gets more natural snow, stays as powder for longer, and has a higher percentage of tricky slopes. I have also heard complaints about Vermont [specifically Killington and Smuggler’s] having some ice issues. No one I know skis or snowboards on the American East Coast anymore. Again, PURELY what I have heard…keep doing research! I’m jealous ;)

        Hmm… A friend told me Stowe was kind of a bust the last time she was there. Plus, I’ve always had good luck in Quebec, so I’ll probably just plan to stick with a winner. Thanks for the feedback!
