yes this is the story of my life. i love wearing skirts and makeup but i have a masculine walk/voice/personality. also i am pretty exclusively attracted to femme girls (and straight girls fml) who probably are looking for more of a butch partner (or a dude). anyone in a similar boat?

I’m in the same boat. Straight girls/girls who are only into butch girls/bicurious-but-really-not girls. And of course, any degree of femininity makes me entirely invisible as a lesbian, even though I’d be a total fail of a straight girl. Guh

BEST advice given above is to go East! To me it’s much more chilled an atmosphere, and it feels more like real London.
In Soho though, Ku bar gets my vote.-
I seem to hear this a lot, but where do you actually advise to go to? From what I can tell on the internet Ghetto seems to be closed and Dick and Fanny doesn’t happen very often .. and I can’t figure out if Trash Palace is the same as Ghetto. All the websites seem to be very out of date

there’s twat boutique and unskinny bop which you definitely need to check out. i’d also advise just going on a general bar crawl, basically it’ quite difficult to go wrong :)

I do not know anyone who has point this out, but this is such a good point. The femmes are like shmexi with their pumps and short skirts and the butches are like radiating homogayness. I on the other have to wear a rainbow button.

Like what they all say, You can’t get out till you’re out! I also hide it from my parents (conservative christians! word). They think I’m just turning into a typical ultra feminist. My parents were like that, so I never “came out” I just started bringing girls home.
and then right before my dad died, we were watching food network and cat cora was on and he said “so, cat cora’s a lesbian too” and I said “yup” and he said “cool, just makin sure” and that was that. wasn’t nearly as scary as i thought it would be.

wow. i can’t imagine such acceptance from my family. i casually dropped the fact that i didn’t think homosexuality was a sin and we all got into a heated argument in which only one out of six family members (my lil sis) was on my side. woot.
