Cool! What group of people in particular do you study?
-
Fail, I just noticed you said biological anthropologist. I’d still love to hear more about what you study particularly though.
-
At the moment I’m analysing discrete skeletal and dental variants on a set of Bronze Age Mongolian remains.
-
Interesting. Would that be the way to determine how they lived and how good their diet was? I know basically nothing about anthropology.

What I’m trying to do is reconstruct their social structure and establish familial relationships.
But basically, I really like the paleo and osteology side of anthropology. I’m not so good with living people. For a long time I ‘specialised’ in dead babies.
-
Interesting!

Oh that is so cool! I almost went into Anthropology myself, before i discovered college wasn’t for me. Osteology was one of my favorite classes though. Welcome!

We Love Documentaries 12 years agoI just watched The Christine Jorgenson Story–it’s about the very first Transwoman. It was awesome because I’m so into LGBT rights but I feel like sometimes the Ts get left out. It was really cool to get a better perspective on that! Seriously great documentary.

I notice you have six fingers on your right hand
So when I got the email notification of this comment, my first thought was, “my profile pic is an adorable kitten. How could it possibly have 6 fingers?” Then I remembered that I posted this quote. #geekfail
Also, have fun storming the castle!
