Omnivorous Atheist/Skeptic queer geeks 12 years, 5 months agoLet’s have a favorite meat thread? Maybe? Favorite way to eat meat. Anyway, here goes. My favorite is various kinds of pork/ham in po-boys or banh mi, which are Vietnamese sammidges on baguettes. I also adore any kind of sweet sauce on beef, like in beef tataki. You guys?
-
im gonna be classic and go with the filet mignon, or any slow cooked roast. that shit is delish.
-
This. Cannot beat a delish filet imo ^_^

can’t say i’ve tried it but one of the fast food places here in NZ is advertising the double down burger… no bun, just layers of chicken, bacon and cheese…. kinda sounds like almost the ultimate meat combo… just missing some red.
-
Zat KFC by any chance? They did that in America like 2-3 years ago and everyone went batshit. I must say, it sounds like quite the indulgence.
-
Ahhh it’s KFC isn’t it!? My brother loves the double down. haha
I don’t know if I’d say it’s my favorite form of meat, but if we’re speaking of fast food joints, I really miss In-N-Out burger. I’m from Las Vegas, lived in California for a few years, and now I’m out in Miami with no way of getting those delicious cheeseburgers.
-
I’ve heard so many things about In-N-Out burgers. Never had one myself, though–I was raised without meat, so any time I’ve been in the West I’ve been confined to chicken + seafood, which is well enough, but… What are they like?

yeah it is KFC…. we’re a bit behind the times over here lol. It is not a curiosity i would probably admit to the lentil eating friends tho
-
favorite meat = filet mignon. so tender and juicy. if you wrap the filet mignon in bacon it’s like heaven in my mouth.
Favorite way to eat meat has to be brazilian meat rotation. Like Fogo de Chao or something like that. love love love that place. Have you been? It’s a carnivore’s dream come true-
There’s a Brazilian place in my city but it’s always seemed really touristy. I’ll have to go though. Meat is delicious.
-
mmmchyeah we have a brazillian restaurant with all you can eat style thing where they come aruond with like 8 types of meat……oh lawdy. party in my mouth.

I am eating a hot-off-the-grill Jalapeno Bacon Cheeseburger right now. I suppose my favorite meat meal is Lamb Vindaloo though. I simply adore Indian food
-
jerk chicken, I could eat it every day. well, if it wouldn’t burn off the lining off my stomach with spiciness I could anyway.
I also like fried chicken livers, but I suspect that wont be very popular…
-
How has no one said bacon yet?
Oh and you gotta check out the Ethical Butcher: http://qpdx.com/tag/ethical-butcher/
-
Corned beef sandwiches FTW!
-
I love Quick. I thought I hated fast food and then I came to Europe and discovered Quick. And they have this Classic Pepper thing that’s got pepper cheese and red onions and sauce au poivre and just…mmm. I’ve probably taken ten years off my life with burgers and buggerall, IDK.
