Ok, so I need some input here.. I’ve recently ( two months or so) gotten into a relationship with a wonderful woman, whom I love. We went into this knowing that I’ll be going off to grad school at the end of July. She initiated intimacy knowing this. We spent a good few weeks spending most of our free time together, but in the past week she’s…[Read more]

I was in a 7 month long distance relationship and all I can say is it really takes a toll on you. As much as I loved my ex it’s a lot to deal with and kind of sucks when no one can see her and only hear about your fights on skype etc. I think long distance relationships are just when you have to coz you love the other person so much you don’t have…[Read more]

Ohhh! Canada 12 years, 3 months agoHello Canadians/Canadaphiles! I love Canada, and when my comparative gov teacher told me to write my final paper on an international government, naturally I chose the illustrious government of the true north, even though it is not so sparkly these days. However, there’s a lot of stuff I feel like I’m missing, so if you’re into Canadian politics or…[Read more]

1. I think the biggest problem is that we can become too entrenched in the idea of “Canada as utopia” as a nation. I love my country, but the serious issues that face Native Canadians living on and off reserves as well as other minorities are too scary too ignore.
2. Man, i didn’t even get to vote this time. friggin election was like six months…[Read more] -
1. I think the biggest problem right now is the shifting nature of our economy. It’s moving from a balanced economy with resource extraction/manufacturing and services based in Ontario to energy extraction from Alberta/Sask which is killing the east. I agree with the above poster though, the quality of services/opportunity for aboriginal Canadians…[Read more]

straddlers, i’ve got a problem. i’ve finally gotten in a relationship with this guy i thought i liked all year, but now that i’m with him, i feel trapped. he’s all about PDA, while i can’t stand even holding hands in public. we don’t really have much in common. just as he started to reciprocate my affections, i realized that i don’t really have…[Read more]

I feel like, if I were him, I’d rather get dumped after a week and so I could start to get over it than be wondering why you wouldn’t hold my hand for three months and then get dumped when you leave for college.
-
If you think you don’t like him at all or feel like it’s not going to develop then I say cut him loose. But if there’s a chance give it ago and just let him know you don’t like PDAs. You don’t have to have things in common, that’s what makes the two of you interesting and different. As someone who still thinks about my ex quite a bit, I think…[Read more]

i would recommend a breakup, but if your gonna stay with him voice your concerns(like the pda thing). If he doesn’t listen, defo breakup. If he listens, well then thats awes and enjoy it.

thanks so much, everyone! i’ve decided to give it a little more time and see how things progress, and it’s going along much more smoothly now :)
